Educational funds ledger, 1887-1929.

This subsidiary ledger records debits and credits to funds created or used for educational purposes. The state auditor maintained this special ledger to facilitate accounting for educational funds. Entries record the date, the purpose of expenditure or the nature of receipt, and the amount. This information was also recorded in the general ledger, which is a permanent record (SX-12-20).
